Haunting Halloween Events in LA

With the spooky season approaching, it’s time to start planning those Halloween activities. Halloween-related events usually begin as early as September in Los Angeles. Here’s our 2023 guide for a fun and thrilling Los Angeles Halloween celebration.

Celebrating Halloween does not always have to be expensive attractions. Many local communities will have fun attractions and stalls to entertain participants. Many terror-filled activities could be found at our second home, Mount Saint Mary’s University.

Spooky Painting and Mocktail Night - Doheny Campus

Join Kappa Delta Chi for a Spooky night of creepy Creativity and mocktails! Art supplies, beverages, and snacks will be provided. RSVP is needed through Engage.

Date: Tuesday, October 10, 2023 @6pm

Location: Doheny, Rose Hills Auditorium Plaza, Bldg. 4

Movie Night With the Kappa’s- Doheny Campus

Dress comfortable and bring a blanket, The Kappa's are throwing a terrifyingly awesome movie at Doheny Campus. Popcorn and candy will be provided. RSVP is needed through Engage.

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch – Culver City

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch delivers a thrilling experience every year for many Angelenos. If you're lucky, you might even find a haunting face or two, as many celebrities are known to stop by during the season. Enjoy special activities, food, and entertainment for all.

Dates: October 5- October 29, 9 am-7:30 pm

Admissions range from $10 to $30 depending on the day and time

Fall Festival at the Original Farmers Market – Hollywood

The historic Farmers Market throws an exciting fall festival yearly. Come enjoy live music, holiday treats, a petting zoo, and more. With free entry, it’s a fun experience for all and support small business.

Haunted Little Tokyo Block Party – Los Angeles

Looking to party? Little Tokyo Ghost Club will transform the community into a fun-filled Halloween celebration. The event includes DJs, food, drinks, and a costume party. It is also a dog-friendly event! Free with RSVP.

Date: Saturday, October 28th from 7 pm- 12 am

Boney Island Halloween Light Up – Los Angeles

The Natural History Museum in Los Angeles is bringing back the Boney Island Halloween experience. Watch as Skeletons come to life with dazzling rope tricks and levitating hoops. The event will feature artistic performances, real fossils, live animal presentations, and trick-or-treating.
