If you ask me who I am,

I'm a proud daughter of two sacrificing parents.

As everyone prepared for the show,

We held our flags with pride.

Grateful to grow up in such a beautiful culture,

grateful to watch someone who represents us.

There's dancing.

There's singing.

If you ask me who I am,

I'm a proud daughter of two hard-working parents.

We grew up with this music.

We grew up with the food.

We grew up with familia.

We grew up with togetherness,

in these fabrics,

in this language,

in this pride.

For once in a long time,

we're not silenced.

We're not overlooked.

We're seen.

If you ask me who I am,

I'm a proud daughter of two Mexican parents.

This isn't about football.

This isn't about power.

This isn't about racial inequality.

This is the Benito Bowl.

This is unity.

And for once,

the world stood as one,

with love as its strength.
